A favourite locale in Alberta is the tiny town of Sylvan Lake. The people of the town did a fine job of redesigning this popular summer city into a year-round delight for locals and visitors alike. This walkway is built along the lake’s edge providing a great vanishing point perspective.

Countryside of marrackech , i took this picture while i was in a hot air balloon, which is by the way an Incredible expérience to do if you are visiting morocco . It was just after sunrise , thé colours were stunnig.

A beautiful lightscape highlighted an old oak tree at the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. I thought it gave the tree an otherworldly look.

There’s something about old stone buildings that is so magnificent to photograph. The colours of the stones, the textures, the history. Who lived here once and what was their life like? If only the camera could go back in time to reveal the answers.

During the recent snow storm I watched as the howling wind blew the freshly fallen snow off the rooves and swirled around in the air, giving it a second life to what we call a whiteout!

Sub-freezing temperatures combined with sunny days form the most unlikely artwork of Mother Nature - icicles, which are always pretty in scenic photos of winter wonderlands.

I found this canoe near the government building underneath a major local skyway. The Canada Centre for Inland Waters is one of the world’s leading water-research complexes. There are several little islands in this area which house hundreds of birds.

This street in Borculo, the Netherlands, used to be my playground more than 45 years ago. I visited my former hometown during the last week of the year 2022. I loved the Christmas tree, and the lights in the street during the blue hour.

I love the various textures in the bay, especially in the winter. It adds to the drama of the photo.

On my way to work I saw this incredible sunrise. I just had to pull over my car to capture this view with its three mills in a little frozen landscape.

In the late afternoon, when the evening gradually approaches, along the Adige river with the abbey of San Zeno in the background. In beautiful Verona.

We were driving along country roads in Alberta, thick with fog. Although slippery, my husband managed to make a stop when I espied this pretty shot. A little trial and error put a sun star in the perfect nestled position in the branches. The splayed God’s rays and deep long shadows provided balance for this spindly group of trees.

The beautiful windmills at the Dutch town of Zaanse Schans. I fell in love with this wonderful place for the simplicity of the town, and that the whole place smelled of chocolate thanks to a nearby chocolate factory! Can’t wait to return one day.

I took advantage of the last moments of Fall and drove to the Niagara Region. The air was cool but the sun was shining. I stopped for lunch at an organic Farm to Table Organic Café and on the property was a large patch of sunflowers. This particular flower’s petals reminded me of blades of fire.

I live in an area with loads of greenhouses, for many kinds of flowers and vegetables. On a certain way they always attract me. I liked this one, because all the windows are wide open, that gives a completely different effect.
