Iphone Photo Awards is an international community for iPhone photographers. Our monthly competitions recognise outstanding photographs, and their results contribute to the annual ranking.

2. How is the annual Top 10 determined?
At the end of each competition year, we count the awards won in Iphone Photo Awards monthly collections to compile the annual ranking. The ten photographers with the most awards receive a custom-designed trophy. See the Awards page for the competition period and ranking.
Membership
1. How can I become a member?
Registration creates your account. Membership is activated separately and gives you access to member benefits. Create your account, then follow the Membership instructions on the site.
2. What does Membership include?
Membership includes up to three photo entries in each monthly collection and a public photographer profile, where potential clients can discover your work.
You can compete for monthly awards and the annual Top 10. Winning photographs are featured on our website, Instagram and Facebook as described in the social media FAQ. The annual Top 10 receive custom-designed trophies.
Registration and account settings
1. What should I do if my city is missing during registration?
You can temporarily select another city in your country to complete registration. Then email [email protected] with the city and country you need. We will add your city, and you can update the location in your profile.
2. Can I register using my studio name?
Register under your real name: this is the name displayed on your winning photographs. You can include your studio or business name in your profile description and add links to its website, Instagram and Facebook. We also mention your studio name in our Instagram posts featuring your winning photographs.
3. Why is my profile missing from the Photographers directory?
An active Membership is required for your profile to appear in the Photographers directory. Follow the Membership instructions on the site to activate it. If your Membership is already active but your profile is missing, contact [email protected] for help.
You will receive a Membership fee discount next year.
4. What should I do if I cannot pay for Membership?
Contact [email protected] and describe what happens when you try to activate your Membership. If the payment result is unclear, check your Membership in your account and contact us before trying to pay again.
5. What should I do if I cannot log in?
If you have forgotten your password, use the password recovery link on the login page. If you still cannot access your account, contact [email protected] for help.
6. How can I change my photographer name?
Email [email protected] to request a change to your photographer name.
Collection submissions
1. What should I do if I cannot upload my photos?
Your photo must be at least 1200 px on its longest side and at least 400 px on its shortest side. The maximum file size is 25 MB.
If you still cannot upload it, email your photo to [email protected], describe the problem, and we will help you upload it.
2. Can I resubmit a photo that did not receive an award?
Yes. You may resubmit a photo that did not receive an award in a previous collection.
3. How often can I take part?
You can take part in each monthly collection. See the Awards page for submission deadlines and publication dates.
4. Why do colours look different after uploading?
Colours can look different when editing software, browsers or displays handle an image’s colour space differently. Convert your image to sRGB before exporting it for the web. In Photoshop, use Edit → Convert to Profile and select sRGB. Appearance may still vary between screens.
5. How can I check my collection entries?
Check your uploaded entries in Current Collection in your account before the submission deadline. After the deadline, they are submitted automatically. You can find previous entries and results in Past Collections.
6. Whose name appears on the award image?
Award images use the photographer’s real name. You can mention your studio or business in your profile description; it is included when your work is posted on the website and Instagram. We display your photographer credit alongside your photo.
Submitted photos must not contain watermarks or descriptive text.
7. How can I get a version of my winning photo with the Iphone Photo Awards logo?
Email [email protected] to request a version of your winning photo with the Iphone Photo Awards logo. You can also request a version for printing. We will send the requested file by email.
Instagram and Facebook
1. How can my photos be featured on the Iphone Photo Awards Instagram or Facebook page?
Our social media pages feature winning photographs from Iphone Photo Awards collections. Register, activate Membership and take part in a monthly collection. Members can submit three or more photos each month. See the next answer for how winning photographs are published.
2. When will my winning photo appear on Instagram and Facebook?
We randomly select winning photographs for individual posts on our Instagram and Facebook pages. All winning photographs are published in our Instagram and Facebook Stories within a few days after the results are announced.
Other questions
1. Who owns the copyright to my photographs?
You retain the copyright to your photographs. We use uploaded photographs only on our website, Instagram and Facebook; we do not use them elsewhere.
2. How can I find a photographer in my city?
Open the Photographers page and select your city. Browse photographer profiles and portfolios, then use the available contact details to get in touch.
