Iphone photographers

I shot photographs from when I was 6 years old. I played with Threepenny machines up to 18. Then I discovered the reflex camera (first an old Zenit E, then Olympus OM1, OM2). I discovered the black and white (the mythical Ilford), the dark room. From 20 years to 45 I snapped, developed and printed thousands of photos. Especially dance, theatre, portraits. Almost always black and white. When digital arrived I was very wary. Then, slowly, I discovered the advantages in the use of digital cameras and, sometimes, Photoshop. I'm not a pro but (I think) a good amateur and today, 68 years old, I'm still taking hundreds of photos with Olympus OM d – E-M 10 Mark III. I always love dance, theatre and portraits. But also the landscape, reportage and above all street photography. And now that I have the iPhone, sometimes with Hipstamatic app, I discovered a wonderful chance to take pictures whenever I want. I am an amateur photographer since 2020 when I joined the Iphone Photography Academy online courses as an outlet from the intensity of working in healthcare during the beginning of the Pandemic; now photography is my passion.

As an anesthesiologist, I hold the esteemed responsibility of guiding patients into a state of tranquility during their time in the operating room. It’s a profound honor to ensure their comfort and safety while they undergo surgery, where I expertly manage their pain and anxiety. Beyond the realm of medicine, I delve into the captivating world of photography, where I find immense joy in immortalizing fleeting moments that resonate with my imagination and creativity. Through the lens of my camera, I see the world as a vast, timeless canvas, each image I capture serving as a vivid testament to the beauty and enduring nature of existence. My sphere of activity is mainly located in north and southwest of Europe. And in between. All pics has been taken and processed by my mobile devices.

With a graphic design and commercial printing background, I’ve always enjoyed photography as a dslr point and shoot hobby. The pandemic provided a timely opportunity to develop my skills through iPhone Photography School’s online courses. Today, I prefer capturing and creating images with my iPhone 12.

Hobbyist photographer, capturing all beauty around me. Once I took my Nikon D80 with me, but the weight is not very friendly so after a few years I left my camera at home and started to photograph with my iPhone. After I followed the online courses from the iPhone Photography School I improved my skills . These days I only use my iPhone 12 Pro and for editing I use my iPad.

A few years ago, I became a passionated photographer more or less out of curiosity whether I’m capable and having an eye for photography. With my former IPhone XSMax I started taking the online courses at the IPhone Photography School in order to gain more knowledge about photography as well as to improve taking more interesting pictures. Meanwhile, I’m working with an IPhone 12Pro as well as with a DLSR Canon EOS6D. When I’m enjoying a nice walk, I prefer to taking pictures with my IPhone 12Pro. First of all I’m always carrying it with me and secondly it’s compact and very low-weighted. And finally, the quality of the iPhone camera is very good.

I’m an amateur photographer who started my journey in 2019 taking photographs for my son’s school. Since then I’ve found the love of seeing the world’s beauty around me and capturing it how I see it. I shoot primarily using my iPhone14 but have been learning how to properly use my Canon EOS 90D more recently.
