Grazing on the 27,000 acre campus of Berry College located in Rome, Georgia, USA, this herd is perfectly content. The Berry Farms' Angus Beef Enterprise works with the students to raise the cattle.
Founded in 1964, the historic Covenant College stands at the top of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, USA, which has a grand view of the Chattanooga, Tennessee Valley from that vantage point. It is 20 miles away from my location in the valley, yet we can see the steeple from our front porch. However, the road to get there winds around and up the mountain making it about an hour drive to get there. Once there, the view is amazing.

Casa Amatller in Barcelona, Spain. Originally constructed in 1875 and rebuilt in 1898-1900 in the Modernisme style by Catalan architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Located directly beside the famous Casa Batlló by Antoni Gaudí, they belong to a city block known as Illa de la Discòrdia (“Block of Discord”).

The two most famous landmarks of Freiburg im Breisgau, Black Forest, Germany: water-filled runnels called „Bächle“ which serve as water supply running throughout the city center and not as sewage system. Legend has it that if you step into them accidentally you have to marry a citizen of Freiburg.<br /> <br /> In the background you can see the spire of the Freiburg Minster.
Night shot of the Freiburg Minster, Black Forest, Germany, also called The Cathedral of Our Lady. The Roman Catholic church was built from around 1200 to 1513 in the Gothic style. The tower which measures 116 meters in height survived the bombings in World War II and contains 16 bells (the oldest from 1258).
View at the Martinstor (Martin’s Gate) in the Kaiser-Joseph-Straße which is a shopping street in the city center of Freiburg im Breisgau, Black Forest, and one of the most expensive locations in Germany. The Martinstor is a medieval former town fortification built in the 13th century. Over the course of the centuries it has been reconstructed multiple times.

This photo was taken at Lost Lake, Whistler, BC<br /> I asked a friend of mind to throw a stone to create a ripple effect but she couldn’t reach the spot where I want it so I tried it myself and click the shutter of my iPhone 13Pro and this is the outcome.
The person on this photo is a friend of mine and I was behind her. I gave her a copy of coloured one and she use it as her profile picture and I transformed it to BNW filter of iPhone and adjust exposure and contrast. This was taken at Wine Cave Museum owned and built by Koutsogiannopoulos family and took 21 year of hard work and perseverance. The cave is 8 meters below ground and 300 meters long. There are lesser-known corners of Venice, with less famous palaces but splendid architecture. Useful, necessary, beautiful to see and photograph.
Burano is the island of the Venetian lagoon famous in the world for its colorful houses. In a hidden corner of it, colors are added to a fairytale balcony.
Venice, Rio de la Tetta. An old gondola moored next to the water gate of the legendary Libreria Acqua Alta.
In Venice the wonder is not only in the Palaces seen from outside but also in what you see from the Palaces. Here from Palazzo Donà-Brusa.
The imposing Palazzo Pisani in Venice, built and rebuilt several times between 1600 and 1750 at the behest of the noble Pisani family, is now home to the renowned "Benedetto Marcello" Conservatory of Music.
The wonder of Venice is not only in the hundred churches and hundred wonderful palaces, architectural masterpieces and treasure chests of thousands of works of art. The wonder is also getting lost in its "calli" and finding yourself face to face with a white cat that observes you from a window that you can touch...
Fairy Doors, invented by American graphic designer Jonathan Wright and his wife Kathleen in 1993, are becoming increasingly popular in Italy. Finding them is sometimes a real challenge. In the photo one of those present in Verona.

“Cow Lick” <br /> This cow in Mannlichen, Switzerland, was turned back on itself, licking its side. I liked the detail of the close crop, where you can even see flecks of grass on its tongue. The crop also make it ambiguous as to whether the cow is licking another cow or itself.
This shot of Firehole Falls was taken on a snow coach tour of Yellowstone National Park the day after Christmas. I had only been to Yellowstone in the summer and it was a visual feast to see it in the winter!
Lone Bison<br /> On a winter tour of Yellowstone National Park, this lone bison came strolling down the snow covered road and fortunately passed right next to my window on the snow coach tour bus, and I was able to get the close-up shot, even through a streaky window!

Vlacherna Monastery sits on an island off the coast of Corfu, Greece. Built in the 17th century, it is distinguished by its unusual shaped, tiled roof and intense white walls that sharply contrast with the lush landscape and the brilliant blue of the sea.

The urban area around the famous casino in Monte Carlo, Monaco. In 2023, it was recorded that the average price per square meter is about $55,000 US (and no that is not a typo).
Sculpture of man carrying a wine jug at St Mark’s Basilica, in St Mark’s Square, Venice. The Basilica was rebuilt in 978, after having been burnt down. I think what attracted me to this sculpture is the detail that still remains despite its antiquity.
