The Mosque of Sultan Hassan stands in the shadow of the Citadel, Cairo.
The building is heavy and impressive – XIV century, Mamluk architecture style. The light comes from above and draws lines of shadows and light. The prayers are silent as if the link with the divine as a special voice we can’t hear. A shadow passes by and I caught the smooth movement of a body. Maybe it was an angel.

- These led corridor lead us to an empty space, surrounded by a 360° screen where we watched a video all about Barca FC. Certainly impressive!
Wicklow Beach, Ontario. A stormy sky was the back drop that emphasized the azure blue colour of Lake Ontario as my friend walked out to the end of the breakwater making this a perfect photo op.

My husband and I took a country drive through the Northumberland Hills, Ontario and I gasped as we ascended the road through the forest. Stopping in the middle of the road, I was able to capture the rays of the autumn sun through the branches.

After the summer rain, I went out to capture the drops and this turned out to be my favourite macro shot.
This gentleman was selling his artwork at a highway overlook in Nevada. He was kind enough to let me take his photo. I loved his weathered face and haunting eyes.

Early morning in September in Wil, canton of St. Gallen. Only few people were heading to their jobs in a still sleeping little village.
What I liked most was the warm apricot coloured house wall and the stairs leading up to the timbered houses. I also liked the peaceful atmosphere of the village.
