Forty-Second Collection
This black and white picture shows the Great Smoky Mountains National Park turned into a Winter Wonderland during snowfall in February as I drove up into the heights past leafless trees standing sentry on the cleared roadway.
Mysterious frozen waterfalls in the winter forest. The beautiful view. Nature is spectacular and famous.
Dobroslavice - Czech Republic.
This is a view over the Great Smoky Mountains, which live up to their name in this photo for the blue mist that at times hangs over the peaks and in the valleys. The Cherokee Indians called them Shaconage or "place of the blue smoke".
The ancient walls of the Roman Theater wet from the rain. In the background "the beautiful Verona" with its Adige river and the church of Sant'Anastasia
One of the 1st days of spring at the beach & the air smelled as fresh and crisp as this image depicts. The blue sky, the cloud reflection and the reflection of the oyster dock in the water created this composition of a perfect Pacific Northwest day
“Oyster Dock Reflection”-2021
Estas setas las podemos encontrar en la zona de pinares en los Montes de Toledo después de las lluvias de otoño, esta zona pertenece al municipio de Madridejos, lugar de mi residencia y por cierto muy fotogenico en cualquier época del año.
I wanted to test my iPhone’s ability to capture moving flames. I threw some color enhancing crystals on the logs and waited. It was magical.
Trees with or without leaves are my favourite! It gives me the message that just like trees we are all beautiful with or without the leaves (in whatever shape or form we are). If we look for beauty we find beauty! A regular winter evening was made beautiful by those trees with beautifully draped lights.
This picture was taken on a cold February day high up in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where a graceful curve in the road frames the puffy clouds in the bright blue sky and the mountains beyond, and the bumps and tufts of piled up snow on the ground.
I took this photo at Botanical Garden in Melbourne – Australia. A beautiful summer evening topped by nature’s beauty on the ground and in the sky.
‘When you see beauty all around you, beauty will seek and find you, even in the most unexpected places.’ — Alberto Villoldo.
I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family recently and this was one of my favourite shots from the day. I loved the intimacy and detail of the photo.
A pair of dove showed up in time for the shot of the Sundial bridge in Northern California with some balloons as well released timely in the background.
Ice, snow and fog developed a very spooky atmosphere when I entered the forest. For me it seems like a lightened huge refrigerator connected to a black and white landscape.
This beautiful capture of wild poppy was taken on a wonderful sunny day of Summer 2020. What I love about this shot is I could capture all the flowering stages of poppy in one frame: pod, flower and fruit!
Nice is one of the most beautiful ports I have ever seen. You can rest, reflect, write a poem and ... take a picture to preserve memories...
A beautiful evening at kite beach Dubai.
A touristic attraction and holy place for kite surfers and divers
Especially if evenings are full of clouds
This photography is of a cat that I have kept for almost 9 years. It is actually a black cat. It is born with a body that does not eat fat. Under the sunshine one afternoon, the black and white light and shadow make me want to record that moment.
A beautiful summer sunset on my way back from work at the station. Silhouette of the people, shadow and reflection of the train and sunset inspired me for this photograph. It was captured at Nanaimo Skytrain station in Vancouver.
The Crests of Monte Grolla, the Lessinia plateau, just over half an hour's drive from Verona. What is the summer is a prairie populated by grazing cows these days is beautifully covered by almost a meter of snow ...
I took this photo while waiting on traffic lights in Melbourne – Australia. Sometimes beauty presents itself unexpectedly in most simplest possible ways, just enough time to admire and capture.
‘We find beauty not in the thing itself but in the patterns of shadows, the light and the darkness, that one thing against another creates.’ — JUN’ICHIRŌ TANIZAKI
This was taken from the trip to Yosemite National Park, with clouds hovering the mountains. Supposedly it’s going to snow but not at the time the shot was taken.
"Above the sky, below the horizon" I captured this scenic view of clouds and horizon during the sunrise. This was my last travel of 2020 in January.
I love mountains because their majesty makes me feel more part of this world than its center. I think this is a good reflection for all of us!
This was shot at the newly built Tainan Municipal Library. The interior decoration is mainly in goose yellow to create a sense of comfort. The designed lighting is distinctive and worth a visit!
