Florence, Italy<br /> The Arno flows like a mirror under the Ponte alle Grazie.<br /> In August 1944, the bridge was destroyed by the Germans as they retreated before the advance of allied forces in World War II. After the war ended, a competition was launched to create a new design for the replacement bridge. It won a project of a group made up of architects including Giovanni Michelucci, Edoardo Said, Edoardo Detti, Riccardo Gizdolich and Danilo Know and an engineer, Piero Melucci; they presented a project consisting of four thin piers with thin arches between them. The new bridge was completed in 1953. This was shot at the waterfront of the Jaddaf area in Dubai. Just after the sunset, the sky colors with the backdrop of Dubai Skyline looked amazing and I knew it’s the perfect setting for a good photograph.
This picture was taken from this location called the Gyara Siddi early morning around 5:30 am just before the sunrise. The sky looked so pink and there were haze and fog around. The reflection of Taj Mahal in the Yamuna River looked breathtaking. This is quite a secret and undiscovered spot and there was a local villager standing all alone by himself and watching the view as well which made my frame quite interesting and I knew it’s worth capturing it.
This was taken from the canopy spot which is around 5 km walk from the Taj Mahal east gate entrance. It was shot in the evening during the sunset time and the sun hiding right on top of the Taj Mahal between the clouds looked quite dramatic. The whole scene looked quite dreamy and romantic and it was worth capturing.
This was taken from a rooftop at Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai during the sunset. The Golden hour transformed the entire Dubai skyline so beautifully and I knew it’s was worth capturing the feel of it.
This was taken while cruising on the Yacht with friends in Dubai. It was the first sunset evening of this year 2020 and the clouds and the sunset was perfect.
This was shot in the night at Abu Dhabi. The lightings of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and its reflections on the water body looked quite mesmerizing.

Lili’uokalani Botanical gardens are tucked away, not far from central Honolulu. It’s a beautiful area that sees little foot traffic and is underutilized. There had been heavy rains recently, so I thought I’d check on the falls. I was not disappointed.
Another beautiful sunset on the North Shore. This is near Sharks Cove which is a great place to snorkel in the summer. The winter months bring massive waves, that are best viewed from the shore for a novice waterman like myself.
I walk by these plumeria trees almost every day on my way to work. Some mornings they just beg to have their photo taken. This was one of those mornings.
Hiking after a good rain in Windward Oahu provides opportunities to take these beautiful shots. I use Live Photo and then change it to long exposure to get this effect. It was such a perfect day.
We were leaving an event at Aloha Stadium. Everyone was making a mad dash to the parking lot to get home. We watched as people scurried down the ramp, and I thought it would make a great photo.
The Cathedral of Saint Andrew is one of my favorite architectural structures to shoot at night in Honolulu. It’s hard to take a bad shot of this building.
This was a precarious spot to try and take a photo. I jumped over a guardrail and shuffled down the hillside and used a tree to hang out enough to not have any shrubbery in the shot. The result was worth it. This was on the way out of Yellowstone National Park.
Last summer I promised my family we would travel through Paris and Rome. This shot was taken in the Paris Tabernacle in Paris, Idaho. We also traveled through Rome, Oregon. I feel like my promise was kept...
Every time I’m in Chicago I try and go by Millennium Park. This is one of my favorite places to hang out and watch people interact with this piece of art, with the Chicago skyline as a backdrop.
This shot was taken at the lookout over Waipi’o Valley on the Big Island. The valley is beautiful and can only be accessed by four-wheel-drive due to the steepness of the road to travel in and out of the valley itself.

The paradisiacal and endless beaches of Cofete, located in one of the most beautiful and protected enclaves of the island of Fuerteventura, as is the Natural Park of Jandia.
In the southern part of the Jandía Natural Park on the island of Fuerteventura, we find ourselves from small coves with beautiful beaches, to cliffs where you can see the wonderful sunset.

La zona de Costa Ayala está compuesta de unos bellos acantilados, que se pueden observar gracias al paseo se que tiene habilitado y como fondo las Palmas de Gran Canarias capital de la isla.
En la costa norte de la isla de Gran Canaria, existe una zona con un especial encanto, por su bella zona de costa y el gran atractivo de tiempos pasados, como son las Salinas del Bufadero que datan del siglo XII.
Un bonito amacener en la Isla de Gran Canaria, en concreto en la localización del bufadero de la Garita, con unos colores y reflejos especiales en esta agreste zona volcánica.
Composición de arquitectura en la terminal del aeropuerto Adolfo Suarez en Barajas-Madrid, zona de transito de pasajeros, curiosamente en ese momento con muy pocas personas.
Un paraje extraordinario para dar nacimiento al rio Mundo, un gran salto de agua en el nacimiento para dar paso a numerosas pequeñas cascadas y hacer el paraje de una belleza extraordinaria.

I took this photo near Black Rock Pier – Melbourne. A beautiful sea side spot with amazing stones, they create endless photo compositions. High tide and placement of rocks made this shot very tricky but at the end it was all worth the effort.<br /> <br /> ‘Leave no stone unturned’.― John Burroughs
I took this photo at Bush Rangers Bay which is outside of Melbourne. This serene location is contrasted by the dark and brooding headlands and wild waves that often crash onto jagged rocks guarding the entrance to the bay.<br /> Bushrangers Bay can be accessed from the Boneo Road car park and picnic area (2.5km). This section of the Two Bays Walking Track passes along Main Creek and provides fine views and passes through shady Banksia groves. You also get views over the surrounding farmland and into the creek valley below. There are lots of birds calling as you walk through the Banksia forest and there are grassy clearings where it's not difficult to spot kangaroos.<br /> <br /> ‘The best view comes after the hardest climb’.― Anonymous

Paragliders and Clover Point in Victoria BC are naturals together. This much-loved spot attracts thousands daily including those who crave the wind for their sport. This day proved particularly challenging for paragliders new to the sport. I loved the rich blue of his sail against the moody sky.
My iPhone’s close-up shooting ability always astounds me. Roses, raindrops, and pretty soft sunlight are the perfect mix. Shot in Victoria, British Columbia.
My husband and I love Alberta/British Columbia road trips, especially in the fall. We were on our way to Jasper when this pretty mountain vista caught my eye. It just needed a little natural framing to perfect it.
North Thompson River in British Columbia. We were making our way back to Alberta early morning along a nearly deserted highway. I could hardly believe my eyes at the clarity of the reflection. We stopped and I ran back fearing the scene would change. It did not. What peaceful magic.
Sometimes, the best photo ops find you, especially along a dreary nearly deserted highway. We sped over the bridge past this placid sight, but I encouraged my husband to stop and turn back. The perfect reflections, the still river, and the fog had to be captured in an image for a forever memory of natural beauty.
A perfect day in Honolulu Hawaii awaiting our ship to leave port. Issues kept the ship in port an extra day, but it also allowed me this vantage point for a shot of the harbor and gorgeous Hawaiian vista.
I am not a huge fan of snow and cold weather, but when I can brave our Canadian -C temperatures, I am always rewarded. This is a lonely path far up the riverbank in central Edmonton. No one was out walking in the cold. But the light was so beautiful and the textures were charming. I considered leaving the shot in full color, but the dark and light contrasts heightened the feeling of being alone.
Sometimes the sun combined with snow haze can turn an everyday common spot into something magical. Add some moody lines and shadows and voila. This is a neighborhood baseball park in Alberta Canada.
A wonderful bit of freedom during the Covid lockdown led me to a local park still filled with snow. I liked the lacy overlay of the evergreen needles against the snowy background. The grey tones are somewhat symbolic of the collective mood in our societies.
The ornamental Crabtree in our front yard has such short-lived blossoms. But the color and the fragrance are so memorable. And photogenic.
