Sacred and profane in Venice, Castello district, a few hundred meters from the Arsenale. An ancient capital and the old communist section coexist to the delight of the few tourists who pass through these streets of the Venice of the Venetians.

Strolling through the Bloedel reserve on a sunny spring day I happened upon this Japanese tea house and was amazed at the contrast between the trees, the rocks and the wooden structure and the way the sand looked almost like a soft shimmer of water.

As avid travelers, we feel like this pandemic has clipped our wings. However, we are blessed with gorgeous Rocky mountains only four hours away in Jasper National Park. Snowcaps, wispy cotton candy clouds, and cerulean blue skies make for a perfect photo op.

This was shot during my recent trip to Udaipur in India. Every morning I was waking up to this wonderful view and sunrise on Lake Pichola. It was a moment worth capturing and it cannot get more Devine than this.

New Years Day trip to the beach to set intentions for the year ahead. The sea (however far out) is always so calming and I had an extra superb view.

It was a foggy day at the iconic Astronomical clock tower in Czech Republic, shot at early morning while majority was still dreaming.

That winter landscape becomes special with the view of the couple walking hand in hand in the snow. It connects a warm feeling in an old surrounding.

This photo was taken in Medulin. As usual by chance :) Medulin is a small seaside town in Istria Croatia. I like Croatia very much especially Istria.

The boats are the characteristic tourist features of Lake District, United Kingdom which has 16 lakes. This view was captured at one of the beautiful lakes named "Derwent Water".

Nice in January 2021. In this city, you can find something interesting to photograph at every turn. It is worth having an iPhone with you, but also eyes around your head ;-)

Did the Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston, SC a few years back. As I was crossing the bridge, I stopped and took the time to grab this shot. Worth it! :) An all around great day, and this is a perfect reminder of it. :)

The ancient defense walls surround Verona. Stratifications that start from the Roman era, cross that off the Scaligera lordship, arrive at the Austrian occupation. A few hundred meters from the crowded streets of the center, a splendid path crosses the Parco delle Mura.

When you suddenly got a brilliant idea it maybe feels like warm sunshine that brings the thaw in the wintertime. That is exactly what this capture means for me.

View of the port of Nice in January 2021. While standing behind the hotel gate, I noticed people walking by and a ship passing nearby. The association was unequivocal: as humans, we need freedom the most.

Clouds are reflected in the sea as a small boat motor out of the marina, past waymarkers set in the shallow water, at Matheson Park in Coral Gables, Florida.

I experienced a real winter in the Alps near the ski station. I really liked this little medieval church in the snow scenery, which reminded me of a moment frozen in time, like falling snowflakes.

In an early morning walk I captured sea birds gathering on the seashore and beautiful pink clouds from the light of dawn at Ormond Beach in Florida.
