Fifty-Fourth Collection
"The blue angel of welcome" is the bronze statue of the artist Albano Poli. In front of the Cathedral of Verona reminds passers-by of the word "welcome". Never before as indispensable in our daily vocabulary.
A beautiful day in the salty town of Port Townsend WA ~ this line of sailboats caught my eye with the colors and reflections. You can smell the sea in this image

The colour of springtime is flowers, the colour of winter is in our imagination. A perfect frozen moment captured here leads us to imagine Toronto Harbourfront’s beloved Empire Sandy traversing through frozen Lake Ontario.
One wing of the Oculus building with the World Trade Center at the front. The structure of the Oculus is the portrayal of a bird about to take a flight, it was designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava.
If you go down to the woods today you’re sure to find some beautiful sunlight.
Wonderful walk through the local woods always looking up at the beauty around me.
This is the phenomenal fire fall or the horsetail fall that a lot of photographers (professional and nonprofessional) seek to take.
Location: Chesterton Windmill, Leamington Spa, UK. It's a beautiful capture of the dusk with dark clouds and twilight in sky. An eye pleasing view.
Amazing landscape of dubai from the uniques architecture masterpiece in Dubai-__UAE - The Dubai Frame
This view becomes lively and astonishing all the times and esp in golden hour
I’m usually in a rush to grab lunch but that day was just too good to pass. So I stood there, unbothered about the hot sun, unbothered about people passing by and just took that shot (okay… it was a few shots) and my OCD self is extremely happy with the symmetry in the picture.
This was in fact a test. This photo was made in my studio with natural light. The test was as follows: I make a photo with my Canon EOS 5Ds and one with my iPhone. I then ask friends and family which one is taken with a smartphone. Not a single person said It's this one because of this and this reason. Some guessed right. I know you do not take photos of two subjects but always of uneven subjects ...
Désorganized Ears
This pic was taken on the road from essaouira ( morocco ) to marrackech , i saw those donkeys in this truck . It was a very windy day plus the speed of the car , their ears were going in all direction .
It was so funny . My friend was driving i had to ask him to Chase the truck and try to stand at the same level . It was not a highway and cars were coming in our direction . But i did it and here it is !
- Inside the Mini-
Guppy. I think it is interesting
from a symmetric visual concept but the history of what you are looking at is also fascinating. The
Mini-Guppy was originally delivered
to Pan American Airways in 1949 as a
Boeing 377 Stratocruiser (prior to its
conversion), which it flew until 1960
when it was returned to Boeing and
sold to Santa Barbara based Aero-
Spacelines in 1963. Converted to a
Mini-Guppy, it first flew in 1967. After
years of commercial use and ferrying
such interesting items as NASA's
Pioneer 10 Spacecraft (used to
explore Jupiter and the Asteroid Belt)
and Goodyear's Europa Airship, it
was purchased by Erickson Air Crane
in 1988 and used for the transport of
large Air Crane helicopters until 1994
The sun was rising over the River Lark, early one morning as I was out walking my two Cocker Spaniels. It was cold and frosty under foot and the light show that morning was particularly lovely, creating a myriad of colours, reflected by the calm still water of the river.
It will certainly not be the demonstrations of protest against Putin and solidarity with the Ukrainian people that will change things. We need real help, concrete and not just moral solidarity. However, even a photo taken during a demonstration in Verona can help us not to forget. Free Ukraine!!!
A photographer’s paradise. Canterbury Cathedral is beautiful in every corner. The stained glass windows, one of the oldest in the world tells so many stories and is a joy to capture.
The Water’s Soul statue by artist Jaume Plensa gestures at residents of Manhattan to be silent from its vantage point on the shores of Newport in Jersey.
Reflected mountains in a quiet Merced River with some clouds and trees to give a bit of sense of how grand the mountains really are.
Location: Batsford Arboretum, Cotswold, UK. A beautiful capture of spring in the arboretum consisting of 56-acre gardens with trees and shrubs from around the world.
Que Pasa, 7 Emerald Hill, Singapore. A makeshift wall in a bar, decked with empty bottles. I’d like to think that each and every green bottle there is sealed with beautiful memories of those who sipped wine, shared great company and wonderful laughter around the table.
On my walk to see the Water's soul in Newport in Jersey City, I captured this beautiful sunrise light with the view of the Empire State.
Out for a walk one evening, I stopped and took this picture as I saw the amazing light and reflection on the cold, damp road. We love living near Mildenhall, Suffolk as there are so many beautiful buildings and the Suffolk light can be particularly lovely during Spring and Autumn.
In the Oculus Building Few people walk the concourse of the Path railway station in the World Trade Center in New York City on a morning in February.
This was taken from my favorite spot in the park just to be different with a common morning shot, kept the sun out and avoided glares.
The morning sky blankets Manhattan and its skyscrapers, including the iconic Empire State Building in midtown New York, as seen from the waterfront walkway of Jersey City on a recent winters day.
A beautifully reflected half dome on the Merced River as the sun sets from the Yosemite National park captured here with no edits required shot.
The ribbed walls of the Oculus building erected on the spot where the Twin Towers stood before 9/11 capture the sunlight and shadows of neighboring buildings on a recent more in New York City.
