This is a park close to where I live and it parallels the northern shore of Lake Ontario. This Autumn, the colours of the Canadian Maples have been exquisite. I love how this image displays the kaleidoscope of colours of the trees and the blue of the lake. The bench provides a resting place to sit and absorb the beauty all around.

This avenue of trees is my favourite part of my daily walk, the huge branches provide shade from the summer sun. I loved how the mist on this occasion provided an additional atmosphere of mystique.

Surveying her domain as the sun sets in the Western sky, and resting peacefully after a playful day. Her trusting demeanour speaks to the love and devotion she has to her home and loved ones.

Driving around the countryside in late summer, a field full of hay bales is always a delight. It represents successful harvest and healthy stock for the winter months.

At the end of the day, at the setting sun when all is quiet, it is time for peace and reflection. Here in Canada, with so many lakes, the canoe is still the favourite choice on the water.
