Sixty-Second Collection
The Scuola Grande di Santa Maria della Misericordia was a school (brotherhood) of Battuti di Venezia active from 1308 to 1806. After having also been the seat of sports clubs and even a sports hall, it has rediscovered its wonderful function as a container, often for related exhibitions at the Venice Biennale.
So lucky to commute via ferry to Bainbridge Island and sometimes when leaving Seattle the view from the departing ferry offers golden shiny reflective images

Our new favourite getaway is Sylvan Lake, Alberta. The autumn sun goes down very quickly, so I had to put myself in the right place fast. I had seen the boat framed by the trees earlier and guessed it would make a great shot in capturing these rich golden hues.
Fall colours never disappoint! A beautiful fall day in Oakville, Canada. Even falling leaves paint the canvas and is a photographer’s delight.
Cinque Terre - the five villages on this beautiful part of the Italian coast.
So much history, a colour palate to swoon over and a cacophony of leading lines sending your eyes everywhere to soak it all in.
This morning hike shot at the base of the Multnomah water fall in Oregon was stunning specially when there are still no tourists around.
It was my birthday weekend and I spent it watching handsome, adrenaline pumped racers giving it their all on the track! It was my first MotoGP event and I enjoyed every minute of it. The sights, the sounds (you cannot miss it even if wanted to!) and the atmosphere. The symmetrical lines around the grandstand was something I couldn’t ignore!

This is my dad’s restored 1933 Chev Pickup. We had it out for a drive and while going across a bridge I asked him to stop so I could capture it with the fall landscape behind. I love how the fall colors made the green of the truck really pop!
“When looking at an extraordinary landscape, there are no questions, no answers, no desires, no plans, no worries, no past, no present, no future; there is only a deep silence, only a glance!”
Beautiful day at the Claddagh in Galway City, Ireland.
This is a park close to where I live and it parallels the northern shore of Lake Ontario. This Autumn, the colours of the Canadian Maples have been exquisite. I love how this image displays the kaleidoscope of colours of the trees and the blue of the lake. The bench provides a resting place to sit and absorb the beauty all around.
“It was one of those perfect fall days
when the air is cool enough to wake you up
but the sun is also kissing your face.”

I received a few stares while laying on the ground for this shot. This is the view looking up from the middle of the Toronto-Dominion Centre complex on a beautiful late summer’s day.
Here we are at the MĂĽnzplatz with view into the Augustinergasse. The Augustinergasse is a medieval lane that today is part of the intercity pedestrian zone of Zurich, Switzerland. It is named after the former Augustian Abbey. That is now Augustinerkirche.
I shot this picture on an early cloudy Friday morning, when only few people where there. The Münsterplatz and Augustinergasse are highly frequented during the day, especially by tourists, as this lane leads you to the famous Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich. The Swiss flags caught my eye as well as the peaceful sphere at the time I was there. I’m very happy to share this impression with you and I hope, that when you’ll visit Zürich, you’ll like this part of the city as much as I do.
Those beautiful calm mornings. I always look for feathers as a note from my dad when I need help. I found this one and posed it to give it importance.
The establishment of the provianda di Santa Marta or more simply provianda di Santa Marta is an Austrian barracks built between 1863 and 1865, when Verona was under Austrian rule. Originally it was intended for the production of bread and biscuits, for the storage and administration of other subsistence items, but starting from 2015, after the restorations, it houses the economics departments of the University of Verona.
The beautiful clouds on this Liberty Bay Harborwalk were such a beautiful contrast to the wood walkway and the harbor breakwater stones…..I was drawn to the light contrast and grateful to have my iPhone with me to capture this beauty

The Three Graces-Aglaia, Euphrosyne, and Thalia - are the daughters of Zeus and are the ancients who embody beauty, joy, and harmony. The statue was on display at the Vatican Museums and I loved the reflection caught in the doorway glass.
“How sweet to be a Cloud Floating in the Blue! Every little cloud Always sings aloud.”
Cloud Reflection at Claddagh Basin, Galway City, Ireland.
This avenue of trees is my favourite part of my daily walk, the huge branches provide shade from the summer sun. I loved how the mist on this occasion provided an additional atmosphere of mystique.
“Everyone needs a place to retreat;
a spot where the world grows quiet enough
for the soul to speak.”
by Angie Weiland-Crosby
Casa Museo Palazzo Maffei, Verona, Piazza delle Erbe, is a splendid art collection that is the result of over fifty years of collecting passion of the entrepreneur Luigi Carlon. For some time now the splendid terrace has also been visited, with its statues and a priceless view of Piazza delle Erbe.
“Fallen leaves on the ground are the golden song of immortal creativity.”
One of the very best things about Autumn is witnessing the leaves transform through a spectrum of shades before ultimately falling, creating a vibrant carpet of colour.
The Long Walk, Galway City, Ireland.
