Wicklow Beach, Ontario. A stormy sky was the back drop that emphasized the azure blue colour of Lake Ontario as my friend walked out to the end of the breakwater making this a perfect photo op.

My husband and I took a country drive through the Northumberland Hills, Ontario and I gasped as we ascended the road through the forest. Stopping in the middle of the road, I was able to capture the rays of the autumn sun through the branches.

Here in Ontario, Canada, we have had an extended summer throughout September allowing our giant Hibiscus to squeeze out its last flowers of the season.

Sidney, British Columbia, is a beautiful small town on Vancouver Island, Canada. This is the iconic fish Market where the fresh fish of the day is sold but you have to be early as they sell out every day! I took this photo early in the morning with long exposure.

As we drove over the hill and descended the lane, we were delighted by this scene that took us back to a bygone era of peaceful pleasant times.

In Canada the Indigenous Peoples used stones to depict the way, they are called Inukshuk.

We live on what is called “The Apple Route” and our local farm is Moore Orchards. They had just harvested when I took this photo in the early morning. The apples were very good.

Cobourg, Ontario has an excellent Youth Sailing School in the summer where they are taught sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and team canoeing. These were some of their canoes and kayaks resting on the shore of the marina.

“After The Storm”
August 12, 2023, a huge band of storms passed across the Province of Ontario. This was taken as the clouds parted and the most brilliant sunshine produced spectacular images in the clouds.

The small soft feather, abandoned plumage, lay still in the wet sand. The fine hairs on each spine still fresh, not damaged from its fall, nor from the water lapping along the shore.

Lake Ontario, Canada. It was a sultry evening with very little wind, then, suddenly the wind picked up; our master sailor turned the boat and the sails filled like lungs breathing fresh air and we sailed into the sunset.

Inside a salsify seed head, often mistaken for a dandelion. The sunlight glistened on the fine hairs of its complex woven orb. I used the 2.5x lens of iPhone 12 Pro Max to capture the detail.
