My first success in growing my own daffodils. I was so pleased to see them blooming that I brought one into the house. I grabbed this empty jar and sat it in a sunbeam. I had to capture the pretty scene. A cat tree with sheepskin served as an impromptu studio.


The erupting hot mud pool at Waiotapu! I must have clicked a 100 photos here capturing this remarkable scene. A beautiful experience and sight to see.


The busy streets of Downtown Ottawa at the cross-section with Sussex Drive where many Foreign Embassies can be found and where our Prime Minister lives.


Ice disks, ice circles, ice pancakes or ice crepes are a very rare natural phenomenon that occurs in slow moving water in cold climates.


This intentional camera movement image was taken at the Via Rail Station in Cobourg. I used a downward motion with a slight twist to create this image.

My first home grown tulips! They were so pretty in their prime. I had to have a photo. The iPhone is great at DOF and true colour captures.


We shared eye contact for a good few minutes. The curiosity with which this sheep was looking at me was interesting and deserved a shot. One of my cute New Zealand moments!


Upper part of a 17 meter high art installation called „Lichtturm“ (light tower) which symbolizes the tri-border region of the wider area of Basel, Switzerland, Alsace, France and Southern Baden, Germany. The light can pass through the square openings in all directions. The art installation is located at the Seepark in Freiburg, Black Forest, Germany.


Acrobatics on top of the Bennerley Viaduct, Ilkeston, Derbyshire UK - Base Plates: The structure “floats.” Resting on top of each brick pier bases are 4 large cast iron base plates. These plates are not tied into the bases in any shape or form. They simply rest on the pier bases, held in place by gravity alone.
