Ninetieth Collection

In the winter, the Red Osier Dogwood branches blaze with a ruby red that can warm the coldest of days.

During a particularly drab rainy day in Washington we drove to the Oregon coast for some sunny weather. It did not disappoint.

We call it our boneyard. It’s filled with all manner of ornaments and statues, most decrepit or broken. Then there are the solar lights, all kinds, no rhyme or reason for their placement. My favourites are the ones that cast patterns. I never know which lights will be shining at night, so it’s fun peering out some nights to find a garden of lights. Especially during our long Alberta winters.

My favourite neighbourhood boat never fails me! Captured on a snowy day - a black and white shot just seemed perfect to capture its glory!
