Palazzo Grimani, Venice, is a treasure chest that after being the residence of various DOGI (starting from 1521) is a splendid museum. Less known than others, perhaps among the most beautiful in the world. Photo was taken with iPhone7, no postproduction.

Harbor Reflections -Bainbridge Island

Every time I’m in Chicago I try and go by Millennium Park. This is one of my favorite places to hang out and watch people interact with this piece of art, with the Chicago skyline as a backdrop.

A perfect day in Honolulu Hawaii awaiting our ship to leave port. Issues kept the ship in port an extra day, but it also allowed me this vantage point for a shot of the harbor and gorgeous Hawaiian vista.

This was taken while cruising on the Yacht with friends in Dubai. It was the first sunset evening of this year 2020 and the clouds and the sunset was perfect.

I took this photo at Bush Rangers Bay which is outside of Melbourne. This serene location is contrasted by the dark and brooding headlands and wild waves that often crash onto jagged rocks guarding the entrance to the bay.
Bushrangers Bay can be accessed from the Boneo Road car park and picnic area (2.5km). This section of the Two Bays Walking Track passes along Main Creek and provides fine views and passes through shady Banksia groves. You also get views over the surrounding farmland and into the creek valley below. There are lots of birds calling as you walk through the Banksia forest and there are grassy clearings where it's not difficult to spot kangaroos.

It was national hot chocolate day here in the UK. This was my representation of that. The joys of taking a photograph and also being able to eat it!

This is taken through a metal sculpture at a place called Ragged Point. This was a perfect day to capture the rugged coast of Big Sur on the California coast. It is one of my favorite spots!

This photo was taken on a beautiful sunny winter day while strolling through Halle, Church of St. Francis and St. Elizabeth.

Thank you for the little traffic in the park, which made me stop driving and start shooting. It gave me the time to take a snap at this magnificent Yosemite valley from my car.

I was riding my bike through the city forest of Hannover/Germany when I suddenly got the change to catch that illuminated moment.

We drove around this place and I said to the family "we have to stop". Daughter: "Why I want to go home". Husband: "I want to go home too, I'm terribly hungry". But being the only driver, they were unlucky. In the end, they enjoyed the photo session and two award-winning photos were created :)

We walk distanced roads & our thoughts travel oceans seeking belonging!
Yet going somewhere is not a necessity to find THE place!
We belong to ourselves!
We belong to the very existence of the spot where we are standing!
We spend most of our life seeking & we keep forgetting to spare a few moments to look inside, where all beginnings started!

I took this photo near Black Rock Pier – Melbourne. A beautiful sea side spot with amazing stones, they create endless photo compositions. High tide and placement of rocks made this shot very tricky but at the end it was all worth the effort.

It’s always fun to see some unexpected view in places where you least expect it, like this multi-tier waterfall in Hawaii which is breathtakingly beautiful.

Mohelnice
This picture was also made by complete coincidence. I was returning home and driving towards Mohelnice and suddenly I saw this beautiful light scenery. So I decided to stop immediately and took some pictures...

I took this photo at Ricketts Point in Beaumaris – Melbourne. This is turning out to be one of my favorite sea locations in Melbourne. Markers on the point make it one of reliable locations to shoot a sunset in Melbourne.
