The M.L.King mural in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. Moses Freeman, grew up in the 9th Street area and once served as city councilman, was one of the people featured in the mural. "I had a paper route that lasted from East 9th until West Main. I used the bike because I had so many papers," said Freeman. The painting of him in the mural commemorates his childhood. Mr. Freeman passed away in August 2024 at the age of 86.
