I live in Dresden, a very old and beautiful city with lots of baroque architecture. The Frauenkirche (Church of our Lady) was nearly completely destroyed in the last days of the second world war and stood like this for years. After the Berlin wall fell some people were instrumental in organizing the rebuilding of the church after the old plans. You can see her at the end of the lane. On the right side of the lane is a picture of the Saxonian kings though the times, a mosaic made from Meissen porcelain, called the Fürstenzug - procession of princes. (101 m long). I took the photo with the iPhone 15 PM and edited in LR.

The Chicago skyline at sunset was a sight to behold! I wished time stood still and glad I was able to capture this moment.

Casa Amatller in Barcelona, Spain. Originally constructed in 1875 and rebuilt in 1898-1900 in the Modernisme style by Catalan architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Located directly beside the famous Casa Batlló by Antoni Gaudí, they belong to a city block known as Illa de la Discòrdia (“Block of Discord”).

Founded in 1964, the historic Covenant College stands at the top of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, USA, which has a grand view of the Chattanooga, Tennessee Valley from that vantage point. It is 20 miles away from my location in the valley, yet we can see the steeple from our front porch. However, the road to get there winds around and up the mountain making it about an hour drive to get there. Once there, the view is amazing.
