I am a retired physician and loved photography all my live. I still use my DSLR from time to time but more and more the iPhone is the camera that is always with me.

Winning photos

I live in Dresden, a very old and beautiful city with lots of baroque architecture. The Frauenkirche (Church of our Lady) was nearly completely destroyed in the last days of the second world war and stood like this for years. After the Berlin wall fell some people were instrumental in organizing the rebuilding of the church after the old plans. You can see her at the end of the lane. On the right side of the lane is a picture of the Saxonian kings though the times, a mosaic made from Meissen porcelain, called the Fürstenzug - procession of princes. (101 m long). I took the photo with the iPhone 15 PM and edited in LR.
