Seventy Second Collection
So grateful for my iPhone and blue skies to capture beautiful Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park
“Lake McDonald Reflections” -2023
I always marvel at the delicate nature of dandelions. It seems I can’t get enough. I will pull over for one that is gracefully putting itself into the sunlight to show its beauty.
My husband and I travelled to south England this month. We visited Cornwall and Land's End, where I made this photo. The wheather was rainy and stormy, good for long exposure photos of the rough sea (I used my husband's iPhone 14 pro max).
Macro photography is one of my special interests. Even the backs of flowers I find interesting, Captured this in a restaurant waiting to order.
Sky Stories: Clouds dance across the canvas of the sky. Painting stories only the heart can decipher. Galway, Ireland.
On the same trip we also visited the Seven Sisters, the chalk cliffs at East Sussex. It was a wonderful walk with beautiful nature and eventually the view at the Seven Sisters.
One of my favorite places to photograph is the Columbia River Gorge. This is Multnomah Falls, the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Fuegos artificiales a la llegada en procesión del Cristo del Prado a su ermita, por sus fiestas patronales en Madridejos.
Ghent had my heart! The Gravensteen castle (origins dating back year 800-960) in Ghent, Belgium, has an interesting tale and is a beautiful structure inside and out. If you ever visit there take the self guided audio tour, one of the most entertaining ones I’ve ever heard!
The back of the sunflower is a work of art in itself. It’s always a wonderful exercise to look at things in a different way or from a new angle.
Cobourg, Ontario is known for its beautiful natural beach. This image was taken in the early morning at the private beach of The Breakers In.
Even on a cloudy day the city of Zurich is beautiful. In this image the river Limmat is shown. It’s even possible to do a little sightseeing tour by boat. This tour, by the way, is still on bucket list 😉
A quiet morning in Regierungsviertel, Berlin. An early morning walk on the quiet streets of Berlin allowed me to admire the brilliant architecture such as this. It needed no editing no touch ups. Just beautiful as is!
Cobourg, Ontario has an excellent Youth Sailing School in the summer where they are taught sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and team canoeing. These were some of their canoes and kayaks resting on the shore of the marina.
My picture shows the main entry of the main station in Zurich. What I like so much are the forms within the entry. For some the lines of the tram are disturbing, but to me they show our great public transport system, that in general runs like Swiss watches.
“After The Storm”
August 12, 2023, a huge band of storms passed across the Province of Ontario. This was taken as the clouds parted and the most brilliant sunshine produced spectacular images in the clouds.
Stone houses with their very unique signage. Les Baux-de-Provence, France. The sight I am really fond of strolling in the south of France.
Cobourg Lighthouse, Ontario. An Iconic landmark on the north shore of Lake Ontario marking the entrance to the Marina, a popular destination for all boaters. A Fine Art edit.
