Matera and its "SASSI" in itself is an incredible, magical city. If among old houses, caves, churches, you will find a splendid art exhibition that makes its setting in the SASSI, you can easily get to the wonder. With the iPhone always in your pocket taking a picture is a must.

In Konya in Turkey, the mausoleum of Mevlâna, at sunset. This is the place where are preserved the remains of Mevlâna, also known as Rumi, a philosopher who founded the Sufi philosophy and the order of the Rotating Dervishes.

We were leaving an event at Aloha Stadium. Everyone was making a mad dash to the parking lot to get home. We watched as people scurried down the ramp, and I thought it would make a great photo.

My husband and I love Alberta/British Columbia road trips, especially in the fall. We were on our way to Jasper when this pretty mountain vista caught my eye. It just needed a little natural framing to perfect it.

I took this view from the upper walls of the Castle of Beynac in the Dordogne region of France - you can see the Dordogne river snaking through the countryside, used in the Middle Ages to transport walnuts, chestnuts, wood or wine from the Perigord region in hulled boats called Gabarres.

This morning in Paris was a rainy day. Clouds were very low. Suddenly the top of the Eiffel tower disappeared in a cloud. It was magic like if somebody stole the top of the tower

The living experience of being able to enjoy a gondolier sing while navigating through the historic Venetian canals feels like a chapter from a romantic novel. I was blessed to be able to share this experience with the wife and 2 daughters.

Hiking after a good rain in Windward Oahu provides opportunities to take these beautiful shots. I use Live Photo and then change it to long exposure to get this effect. It was such a perfect day.
