Golden light on Liberty Bays beautiful gazebo. The people framed in the shot were unexpected and added so much to the shot. My iPhone allows me the spontaneity to capture these special moments. Grateful
Paseando una mañana de niebla en Madridejos me fijé en las formas que los cables de alta tensión daban a la imagen desapareciendo en el infinito, me gusto el juego de líneas y decidí realizar la fotografía.

Three of my photo loves in one shot: a cemetery, a skewed view, and a sun star in a deep blue sky accented with wispy white clouds. Shot in Alberta, Canada.

The 2200 feet long tunnel 180 feet beneath the historic Niagara Parks Power Station! A never seen before underground world captured here, left me amazed at this more than a century old excavation.

Architecture gets me every time and I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking up. Pleasing shapes and lines that dictated a black & white shot to enhance their detail for you all to enjoy.

I still remember the exact feeling I felt when I saw this view upon reaching Bedok reservoir. I was blown away by the serenity and was taking it all in with a smile on my face. Nature has that effect on me. My first visit was definitely memorable.
I was struck by the colors of everyday common objects and decided to start a journey of capturing those things. To see something everyday we become blind to the beauty and style before us. This is the first in the “Common Object” series. This was two large colorful mugs on contrasting color poster board. Edits made in the DistressedFX app.

Only 2 % of the worlds population has naturally occurring green eyes and my son is one of those fortunate few. A recent photo of the day prompt “Eyes” challenged me to find a creative way to show off his emerald peepers and using the leaves to frame it brought out the beautiful green color.

I often sit at the edge of this field patiently waiting for the light and palette of sunrise to show. It’s a peaceful time. It’s quiet and it’s beautiful. For me, that colourful rising of the sun is a magical experience.

“Skeet!”
This is a big, bleak, brown city civic center. I am often drawn to angles and geometry when I take photos so when I saw this section of the building, I knew I could do something interesting with it. I waited a long, long time for something to happen and almost gave up until I heard the sound of skateboard wheels come from up the street. The kid saw me stand up off the park bench across the road and enthusiastically posed as he skated on by.

I call these Canadian grain elevators (a disappearing architectural form) the grand dames of the prairies. A cerulean blue sky is the perfect backdrop for these majestic beauties. I am saddened each time one is torn down.

The local science museum recently hosted a travelling exhibit called “Luminarium”. Created by Alan Parkinson, Founder of Architects of Air, Luminarium is an 11,000 square-foot inflatable structure with 21 rooms, filled with vivid colours that reflect the sun’s natural light off curved walls all within a labyrinth of tunnels. The exhibit provided so many incredible photo opportunities it was hard to choose just 1 to submit.
