Twenty-Seventh Collection
When we say gray: the sky that is the background to the palaces and "masegni" of Piazza San Marco, the balcony of the church and even the young seagull ... but it is priceless to be a part even for a moment of the eternal magic of Venice. Photo was taken with iPhone 7, no post-production.
Beyşehir Lake, Turkey
On the waters of Lake Beyşehir, gilded by sunset, boats come out for daily fishing
Sulle acque del lago di Beyşehir, dorate dal tramonto, le barche escono per la pesca giornaliera
This was a precarious spot to try and take a photo. I jumped over a guardrail and shuffled down the hillside and used a tree to hang out enough to not have any shrubbery in the shot. The result was worth it. This was on the way out of Yellowstone National Park.
Los colores del atardecer en la parte norte de la isla de Gran Canaria y como fondo el paisaje del municipio de Teror que se va cubriendo con las nubes del Oceano Atlántico.
North Thompson River in British Columbia. We were making our way back to Alberta early morning along a nearly deserted highway. I could hardly believe my eyes at the clarity of the reflection. We stopped and I ran back fearing the scene would change. It did not. What peaceful magic.
This was taken from the canopy spot which is around 5 km walk from the Taj Mahal east gate entrance. It was shot in the evening during the sunset time and the sun hiding right on top of the Taj Mahal between the clouds looked quite dramatic. The whole scene looked quite dreamy and romantic and it was worth capturing.
This photo was taken at the Empty Sky Memorial in Liberty Park in Jersey City, which remembers the 749 victims from New Jersey who lost their lives in 9/11 tragedy. The memorial frames the skyscrapers of lower Manhattan, including the World Trade Center, while also channeling the sunlight.
I took this photo during a stroll at Frankston beach in Melbourne - Australia. It’s amazing how changing your perspective can have such a positive impact, just a couple of steps down the pier and I was greeted with this spectacular sunset
'It’s not what you look that matters, it’s what you see.' – Henry David Thoreau
Tonight was a busy evening in Geneva / the FER, was hosting a big event inviting Swiss CEOs and executives; I have been impressed by the flows of the guests searching friends or colleagues for having a discussion. The crowd and the lights gave me a sense of looking into the future
Sunflowers are my favorite flower. My husband planted these in our yard. They made a beautiful display and so much fun finding different ways to capture their “sunny” look.
We found these wonderful autumn colors on a sunny evening 2 weeks ago, Wörlitz landscape park.
This picture was taken with an iPhone XS.
These lovers I caught, shot from the hip, on a street corner in Seville. it's taken of an iPhone 8+ and overexposed a bit, the angle was what I happened when I shot it.. it was a split second, I only took one photo and this was it.
Took the family to the Ice Castles in Dillon, Colorado this last winter. Had a great time with the many different cool settings for pictures in the snow and ice.
Blue Lagoon, Iceland...
I have never seen such a spectacular place in my life. Imagine if this the view from my room then how much more magnificent the place would be.. it was so calm n milky blue water. As if it is reflecting souls...
Nusfjord, Lofoten Norway
Arriving in Nusfjord, a beautiful little town in Lofoten, the view suddenly widens towards the fjord and towards the town and the sea. And if the sun is at sunset it becomes very very suggestive.
Arrivando a Nusfjord, bellissimo paesino delle Lofoten, improvvisamente la vista si allarga sul fiordo verso il paese e verso il mare. E se il sole è al tramonto diventa molto molto suggestivo.
The Cathedral of Saint Andrew is one of my favorite architectural structures to shoot at night in Honolulu. It’s hard to take a bad shot of this building.
This picture was taken from this location called the Gyara Siddi early morning around 5:30 am just before the sunrise. The sky looked so pink and there were haze and fog around. The reflection of Taj Mahal in the Yamuna River looked breathtaking. This is quite a secret and undiscovered spot and there was a local villager standing all alone by himself and watching the view as well which made my frame quite interesting and I knew it’s worth capturing it.
I took this picture one beautiful afternoon from the pier at Exchange Place plaza in Jersey City towards the Goldman Sachs building, capturing the sunlight reflecting through clouds, a reflection of building gleaming off the window panes and a young girl swinging around a lamp post in the foreground.
Walking in Times Square New York under heavy rain, discovering taxis images in puddles... like if New York was flooded but still active; Colors made me thinking about Andy Warhol.
This click is from my Iceland trip. Deildartunguhver is a hot spring located in Reykholtsdalur, a district of west Iceland. Deildartunguhver is the highest flowing hot spring in Europe and is widely known for its rapid flow rate of 180 liters (380 pints) per second... It is amazing to witness such a beautiful place on earth.
Svolvær , Lofoten, Norway
At dawn, the view from our rorbu on the bay of Svolvær. A rejuvenating view.
All’alba, la vista dal nostro rorbu sulla baia di Svolvær. Una vista rigenerante.
