Twelfth Collection
the most breathtaking view of a man made structure I’ve seen. walking into Sagrada Familia all expectations are wiped away and taken to another level. it feels like you’re in a forest surrounded by the trees and not in the building made by a man.
The beauty of childhood, the essence of summer. Watching children imagine and visualize the sights of summer. A moment in time, captured.
Taking pictures is a must. If I did not take a picture, I was not there! Photographing puts a stamp on the soul. I think sometimes, I just live to collect as many stamps as possible. It does not have to be spectacular places. The special is the special in everyday life.
"I Exhale" — 2018 — Lake "Kellersee", Holstein Switzerland, Northern Germany
Bradicorte, Arezzo, Italy
A summer storm in the land of Tuscany. Lightning and thunder rolled all around me.
Bradicorte, Arezzo, Italia
Un temporale estivo in terra di Toscana. Fulmini e tuoni rotolavano tutto intorno a me.
A hot beautiful summer night in the Pacific Northwest. Dinner on a friends boat & happened to catch this amazing sky with a 2 paddleboarder bonus-Bainbridge Island
For her, the ocean was more than just a dream, it was a place she needed to visit to find herself...
A summer evening spent enjoying the clear sky, warm water, and calm ocean waves in Venice Beach, California
I took this photo recently during an afternoon stroll while visiting the volcanic black sand beaches in the Pacific coast of Guatemala. A thunderstorm was approaching.
I was waiting to board the plane when I realised all those people walking into the airport. I started to play against the lights, shadows and people. So much fun!
I was in Austin with family and friends and we try to do something semi-educational during our travels. We went to the Texas State Capital and found ourselves wandering around taking photos of everything for hours (even the door hinges are decorative). The details in the construction are amazing. If you’ve never been, stop by the next time you are in Austin.
This calm lake created a beautiful mirror image of the scenery around me... The cloudy weather reflected and shadowed the light in all the right places... This shot is the after effect of the natural setup!
Forte Dei Marmi, Tuscany. Full summer, after lunch, an uncrowded and privileged place to enjoy the sea resting in the shade of the tent of a typical bathhouse.
Los bonitas tonalidades del atardecer en un día caluroso del mes de Agosto, cielos y campos de cereal recién cosechados en mi localidad natal de Madridejos - Toledo
This photo was taken inside an Exhibit called WonderSpaces in August of 2017 , this particular installment was a dark dome with tiny holes punched all over it being illuminated from the outside. To the viewer on the inside (where I stood) it appeared to look almost cosmic or other worldly and it inspired this photo. This installment was titled “A Religious Experience” and it most definitely was!
On a walk through Boston you can’t not end up by the water. It just draws you in. Found these two parked up and waiting to be taken away into the big wide waters.
The serenity of The Amalfi Coast at sunrise. Truly a remarkable experience and incredible sight to capture. I can see and feel all of the gorgeous Italian coast and it’s offerings by relooking at this moment.
From time to time I want – or better: I have to visit museums. Because of the art of course, but also because of the special atmosphere there. Beautiful museums are shielded places from the outside world. And photographing in museums means taking clarity home.
"From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea" — 2017 — Herzog Anton Ulrich-Museum, Brunswick, Northern Germany
Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland
The spectacle of the last day of my wonderful trip to Iceland was this sunset embroidered on the frothy foam of the North Sea waves.
Penisola di Reykjanes, Islanda
Lo spettacolo dell’ultimo giorno del mio meraviglioso viaggio in Islanda è stato questo tramonto ricamato sulla spuma gelida delle onde del Mare del Nord.
“To sit in silence at the shore, watch the waves, and hear the surf, is to appreciate the very breath and heartbeat of the Earth.”
A summer day spent enjoying the beautiful sky and amazing ocean waves at my favorite local beach, Venice Beach, California.
The west side of Oahu has been one of the best places to take photos of the sunset. I’ve been lucky enough to slow the pace of my day to watch this phenomenon regularly. Palm trees seem to make sunsets more enjoyable.
