Raised in Romania in a home full of creativity, music, and spiritual values, I developed a lifelong passion for growth and art. I studied graphic art and painting, earning a Bachelor of Arts after three years. I exhibited in Romania and won second place for graphic art in a national medical professionals' competition. In 1991, I moved to the U.S., paused my art to pursue a healthcare career, earning a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Leadership and an MBA, working full-time and part-time. Around eight years ago, I reignited my artistic expression, blending photography, painting, and spirituality. Since relocating to Lewiston, Idaho, in 2020, I’ve been active in the local art scene. In 2023, I participated in five exhibitions at the Valley Art Center in Clarkston, Washington. In 2024, I became a resident artist there, showcasing my work year-round. Today, my art embodies faith, resilience, and a desire to inspire hope, peace, and reflection through beauty.

I create visual narratives using the iPhone as my primary medium, exploring both landscapes and cityscapes as spaces shaped by silence, light, and time. My work is driven by atmosphere rather than spectacle, by the quiet dialogue between natural elements and built environments. I am drawn to moments that feel suspended—where a place, whether wild or urban, reveals its character slowly. I approach mobile photography with intention and patience. Through manual shooting techniques, multi-frame compositions, and a careful editing workflow on iPhone and iPad, I treat the limitations of the device as creative boundaries rather than constraints. The iPhone, for me, is not a shortcut, but a tool for mindful image-making—one that encourages observation, simplicity, and presence. Rooted in travel, my photography moves between open landscapes and urban spaces, seeking the same sense of stillness in both. A coastline, a street, or a city corner can all become cinematic environments when light, geometry, and timing align. Each image is an invitation to pause and inhabit the scene, translating a sense of place into a quiet, timeless visual experience. I see mobile photography as an evolving artistic language—capable of depth, emotion, and narrative—when approached with care, discipline, and vision.
