Contemplative mood on a sunny walk through the fields. Exploring and being with nature. Capturing the breeze and engulfing all the senses.

If you go down to the woods today you’d better look out for the beautiful light that peeks through the trees. When you’re greeted with light like this you have to stop in awe of nature’s possibilities.

The sharp lines couldn’t escape my glance whilst walking around the suburb of Victoria in London, UK. I’m always looking up when surrounded by tall buildings and this did not disappoint.

The Low Lighthouse is one of three historic lighthouses in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, England, and the only one of the three which is still active. It is a Grade II listed building and stands on the foreshore. First lit in 1832, the Low Lighthouse operated in conjunction with the High Lighthouse for 137 years.

From a photo shoot with a gorgeous individual for whom we were promoting her wellness teas and couldn’t help but capture the rise of the steam from the hot drink into the beautiful light.

If you go down to the woods today you’re sure to find some beautiful sunlight.

The Moon.

A beautiful immersive display in Bath Abbey getting up close with the Moon. A wonderful way to learn with my children about all it’s magic.

A decadent chocolate mouse made using my new Thermomix machine. Set in these lovely Middle Eastern tea glasses gifted to me by a relative.

A beautiful feast in a wonderful setting. Nothing much beats eating food with great people cooked over fire. The ingredients, flavours and people it was shared with were all spectacular.

Glimpses of the Cromer sea front in Norfolk. A particularly dull summers day this year but I loved the mood it set. The framing was a dream too!

The Poppy, a seductive flower with its red colour . It was too much to resist on this walk around our local area. The shapes and detail are enticing.

Catching the light on the beautiful Bath stone that this city is well known for. I especially loved the shadows abs shapes created by them.

I started a simple series of food photographs and particularly wanted to focus on a front view. This was my noodle shot and had much fun balancing the chop sticks.

New Years Day trip to the beach to set intentions for the year ahead. The sea (however far out) is always so calming and I had an extra superb view.

This was my beautiful and delicious vegan Christmas cake made by a local cake maker in Wiltshire. I’ve never been a fan of traditional Christmas cake and this chocolate orange sponge was just the ticket.

I was so excited about the new kit I got for Christmas which included this beautiful prop baking tin that it in itself was worth a photograph.
