Fifty-Second Collection

The Raterian iconography or Civitas Veronensis Depicta is the oldest known representation of the city of Verona. It dates back to the 10th century and there remains a copy made by Scipione Maffei in the 18th century and kept in the Capitular Library. A group of street artists faithfully reproduced it on a house in an alley just outside Porta Vescovo.

A cold and snowy day in Edmonton, Alberta. We were driving through a local park near our city’s river. We pulled over so I could take a better look around. A short walk in and I found this magical winter pathway, well-trodden, but completely deserted that day.

The quire in one of the oldest churches in England, The Canterbury Cathedral. It is a majestic structure, destroyed once by fire in 1067. I’m happy to have been able to capture this amazing Gothic architecture.
