I am awed by nature and its power to heal and restore us.
I believe images of environmental beauty can offer powerful healing to those needing peace in our world. Experiencing the world through my iPhone lens affords me many opportunities to capture mother nature's dynamic and beautiful moods.
I hope the reflections in the water and spontaneous bursts of light through the clouds help soothe and nurture your soul as they do mine.

One of the 1st days of spring at the beach & the air smelled as fresh and crisp as this image depicts. The blue sky, the cloud reflection and the reflection of the oyster dock in the water created this composition of a perfect Pacific Northwest day
“Oyster Dock Reflection”-2021
Strolling through the Bloedel reserve on a sunny spring day I happened upon this Japanese tea house and was amazed at the contrast between the trees, the rocks and the wooden structure and the way the sand looked almost like a soft shimmer of water.

Being on the water quietly rowing allows you to see and interact with nature in a special way. This Heron was watching us paddle our kayak and let us get in close and the big take-off. Glorious nature up close ~
Captured by my iPhone 11.
Capturing a bit of beauty of this small Norwegian town (Poulsbo, Wa) on this colorful summer day ~ the cloud reflection & sky color against the lush greenery ~ very soul-satisfying. This area was settled in the 1880s by a Norwegian immigrant, who was joined by other Scandinavians to create this “little Norway” in the Pacific Northwest.
#libertybayharborwalk2020
The sky on my harbor walk started changing and the clouds looked like a flock of birds as the beautiful colors started developing. Thankful for my iPhone to capture this moment.
