This shot was taken at the lookout over Waipi’o Valley on the Big Island. The valley is beautiful and can only be accessed by four-wheel-drive due to the steepness of the road to travel in and out of the valley itself.

I am not a huge fan of snow and cold weather, but when I can brave our Canadian -C temperatures, I am always rewarded. This is a lonely path far up the riverbank in central Edmonton. No one was out walking in the cold. But the light was so beautiful and the textures were charming. I considered leaving the shot in full color, but the dark and light contrasts heightened the feeling of being alone.

This was shot in the night at Abu Dhabi. The lightings of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and its reflections on the water body looked quite mesmerizing.

I took this photo during my stay in Dubai – UAE, a famous and popular fountain spectacle at Dubai Mall. The water dance along with its reflection is quite an amazing display. ‘Be a fountain, not a drain’. – Rex Hudler.

I was at the Honolulu Convention Center when I took this shot. The architecture caught my eye and I stopped to admire it for a bit. It really came alive in black and white.
