This is my favorite variations of the plumeria flower. I took this macro shot while we were on Lana’i. The island of Lana’i has a rich history and breathtaking beauty.
Sunset in the area of the lighthouse, within the Natural Park of Jandia, place where visitors from the island of Fuerteventura come to see these beautiful sunsets
This was shot during my recent trip to Mumbai. I had captured this from the Bandra Fort early morning right after the sunrise. The Mumbai Sea Link Bridge looked really amazing right after the little showers that happened this morning as I had gone to shoot. The clouds and the eagle flying on the top made the perfect moment and I had to capture it. Overall the experience was unforgettable and the whole scene looked quite dramatic to be true.
One early morning on my walks I captured these enchanting reflection of the clouds in Grove harbor Marine at Coconut Grove, Miami.
I took this photo at a festival in Dubai, skills of this Egyptian dancer along with his colorful costume were amazing. I was lucky to find a good viewing point to capture this beautiful moment. ‘We see in order to move; we move in order to see.’ ― William Gibson
Pacheco Lagoon, Marin County, northern California. The lovely lone tree I have seen in countless poses and have stopped countless times. Was a foggy morning - white swans, egrets, pelicans, geese, ducks, birds, a wild animal - migration stop. The only tree on this lovely curve - so many colors, no matter the time of year - very peaceful. Has caused me to make a u-turn on many occasion - and happily so.
During my recent travel to Paris, I found myself walking the streets on a cloudy day trying to capture some great shots. This photograph was taken in the center of the Louvre Museum, with the backdrop of the famous Pyramid and architectural historical buildings.
It was a warm summer afternoon and I was in Kenosha, WI, enjoying the tall ship festival on Lake Michigan. The ships had just sailed in and docked themselves and it was getting really crowded. I clicked as many pictures as I could and slowly walked back to my car parked at a distance. I was walking past these apartments and the strong sunlight on them caught my attention. I turned around to look a the setting sun lighting up the horizon and I knew that this was a perfect photo opportunity. I decided to break rules and shoot into the light. Like the say, fortune favors the brave!
My husband planted these in our front yard. He knows they are my favorite. It was a beautiful day with clouds and blue sky.
The picture shows one of the old lanterns in the parking lot of Ferropolis, "the city of iron" in Gräfenhainichen, Germany.

I sill have not tired of this view. Any chance I get, I find a quiet spot to watch the sunset and slip below the Pacific, out of view. Ko’olina is one of the best spots on Oahu to watch the sun disappear.
Los colores del amanecer en la bonita playa de Esquinzo en la isla de Fuerteventura, famosa por ser una de las islas Canarias con unas playas impresionantes y muy bonitas.
I took this photo during my recent trip to Japan, it was a coldish spring day with beautiful blue skies. One can never get tired of Mount Fuji’s views, no words or photographs can completely describe the majesty of Mount Fuji. I shot this photo from the single front gunner seat, through the plexi, of a historic PBJ-1J which is the Marine equivalent of the B25 Bomber. These aircraft were built during WWII - this particular aircraft was a 23 year, a labor of love, restoration project. She now flies airshows, etc. and serves as a grand reminder of US military air history. On this particular occasion, she carried a crew of four and seven passengers - I was one of the lucky ones, to be sure! In order to access the single front gunner seat, you had to shimmy on your stomach some 5ft up a very narrow 'tunnel' and then climb into your seat. This nose section was some 65% plexiglass - could see the ground - with a swivel 50 caliber machine gun used during air combat. While awaiting take-off, you 'bake' with the sun beating directly through, tho cooled off as we went airborne. Everyone wore protection ear coverings - those engines were unbelievably loud. Was a ride of a lifetime - I was exhausted from smiling. Below are the agricultural fields of Oxnard, Ventura County, California. A wondrous ride I will never ever forget.
This picture was taken while on a recent family vacation traveling to Amsterdam. The shot of the Royal Palace @Dam Square, one of the most well-known locations in Amsterdam.
Driving past this sunflower field I decided to pull over to admire the flowers. It was an overcast day and the conditions were not ideal for landscape photography. Nevertheless, I decide to venture out and look for interesting subjects. I spotted this bee hopping from flower to flower drinking nectar all the way. He seemed to be intimidated by my presence and was never willing to pose. I positioned myself right next to a long stalk and waited for Mr. Bee to arrive and in a few minutes he arrived and got busy with lunch totally oblivious of my presence and I grabbed the opportunity to click and this photo happened.
It was a very cold morning and completely windless - the best conditions to freeze soap bubbles. The picture was taken with an iPhone 7 Plus.
