I was playing hide and seek with things around London but at the end I won. I got the shoot I was hoping for. Just to remind myself and everyone that is not the camera that create pictures but it is us.

This shot was taken at sunset in Lacon, Illinois. The bridge crosses the Illinois river and has been the star of many photos taken by a fellow photographer. The calm river was mirroring the sky and we sat there taking photos until the sun had completely settled out of sight. Thank you for sharing this spot @ travisguthmanphotography!

This photo was taken the morning of December 7th, 2016. We were living in Pearl City Hawaii, on the peninsula that juts out into Pearl Harbor. I was running late to work but I noticed the cotton candy sunrise sky and knew I had to drive over to the part of the peninsula that faces Pearl Harbor. What a gorgeous sunrise on a day that has been historically devastating. It was definitely worth not being on-time that day.

Holding Miami in the "palm" of my hand... Who doesn't like a good pun anyway? Miami, no what what time of year, can always bring relaxation and tranquility, especially when you stay at the lovely Four Seasons Downtown.

This shot was taken while walking around the lagoon at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, a favorite place to watch the sunset. I’ve always been a fan of reflections, especially in calm water.
