I started Unique Tasmania in 2014 as a way of sharing Tasmania from my own perspective — its wildlife, landscapes, history and the smaller details that can easily be overlooked. For more than a decade, all of my photography was captured using an iPhone. Having a phone with me meant I could photograph unexpected moments wherever I happened to be, from wildlife encounters to changing light across the landscape. My photography is about observing what is around me and sharing the moments, places and subjects that make Tasmania so unique. Wildlife is a particular focus, and every animal is observed and photographed ethically, with its welfare always taking priority over getting an image.
